Drivers Education Sessions
General Information
Seniors are placed first and then juniors are assigned the remaining spots in birth date order.
Based on past enrollment, juniors are usually enrolled during the session of their 17th birthday.
Students attend one lecture class and one driving class per week at Massapequa High School.
In-person driving will be conducted by a driving school.

Massapequa High School participates in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) learners permit online testing at school program. The program allows students age 16 or older to take their learners test online at school.
To take the test at Massapequa High School - Main Campus:
Students must sign-up for one of the sessions in section below
Students must bring their identification and a $5 fee to MHS
Identification can be a school ID, Department of Motor Vehicle non-driver ID card or birth certificate.
Students will also need to know their MSD computer network login name and password
Tests are given in Room 215, please arrive 5 minutes early
After passing the test, students will receive documentation to take to DMV to receive their Learner's Permit
