To Our Massapequa Family,

January may have been cold, but our district has been brimming with warmth and excitement! From engaging activities to enriching experiences, our students and staff have made the most of every moment, showcasing big smiles and positive energy.

As we kicked off 2025, one of the highlights of the month was the launch of our revamped district website and the new MSD app. These enhanced communication tools are a testament to the power of community feedback and collaboration.  If you haven’t done so already, please visit our redesigned website and be sure to download our new app by searching for "Massapequa School District" in the App Store for either iOS or Android.

January also featured some fantastic events, including our annual Chiefs Challenge character education day at Berner Middle School, the Career Fair at Massapequa High School, and Law Enforcement Appreciation Day at multiple elementary schools. These events and more are showcased in the latest editions of the Massapequa Minute and Moment.

Looking ahead to February, we’re excited to host our second annual Parent University, a night of meaningful workshops designed to help parents and guardians stay engaged with our district and, most importantly, the education of their children. This event will take place on February 26, right after the highly anticipated winter recess.
