To Our Massapequa Family,

I can’t believe it’s already November! What an incredible October across the Massapequa School District. Our students were immersed in learning, engaged in community service, and proudly showcasing their Massapequa spirit.

Our high school science students continued their long-standing partnership with major Long Island research centers, conducting a stream analysis at the Massapequa Preserve. Think Pink events united our schools for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, raising funds for important organizations. Every school also joined in our second annual Give Back Backpack Drive – a wonderful reminder of the generosity that defines our community.

And of course, October wouldn’t be complete without Homecoming Week! From the parade down Park Boulevard to the exciting football game – with perhaps the most packed stands yet – it was a true celebration of Massapequa pride, capped off by a memorable Homecoming Dance for our students.

As the leaves change and the air grows cooler, we look forward to another exciting month in Massapequa. November brings heartfelt Veterans Day ceremonies, our Special Education “Focus on Your Future” Resource Fair, and Berner Middle School’s production of Matilda Jr. on November 21–22.
