Summer Fine Arts Program

Registration for the all Programs will take place at the end of May, dates to be announced in April.  Programs are contingent upon the passing of the 2025 school district budget.

Summer Recreation Program

Registration for the all Programs will take place at the end of May, dates to be announced in April.  Programs are contingent upon the passing of the 2025 school district budget.

Programs are tentatively scheduled to start July 1 and end August 1 (closed for the July 4th holiday.)

Summer Robotics Camps

Lego Robotics Summer Camp for Grades 6-9

  • Team up for a fun-filled week of learning.

  • Students will learn how to design, build and program Lego Robots.

  • Will have the opportunity to participate in a Mock First Lego League Competition. 

Vex Robotics Summer Camp for Grades 10-12

  • Team up for a week of learning and preparing for Robotics Team Competitions.

  • Students will design, build and program VEX Robots.

  • Will have the opportunity to participate in a mock competition. 

Summer Sport Camps

Various sport camps will be held for various age groups.  The schedule and cost of each camp will be announced at the end of April.  Participants must be Massapequa School District 23 Residents.

Camp Invention

Give your young innovator an unforgettable adventure! Camp Invention programs offer hands-on activities that will launch their imagination and boost their confidence as they explore STEM fun, from designing a light-up ball game to tackling global water challenges to starring in a prototyping game show. Each experience adds up to an imagination-stretching, confidence-boosting summer.

Under the Lights Basketball

Weekly Recreational Basketball for students entering Grades 4-7 (Monday - Thursday evenings, mid-June until the end of July, 45 minute time slots).  No experience needed.  Captains are responsible for forming a team and registering all players.  The Recreation Office will NOT place players on a team.
