To Our Massapequa Family:

Over the past month, we’ve watched winter give way to spring – and with it, our Massapequa learners and leaders continue to grow and shine. March was filled with meaningful moments that celebrated achievement, creativity and the strong connections within our community.

From Parent University and the high school’s outstanding production of Mean Girls, to the World Language Festival, winter sports recognitions, and the Science Discovery Fair, our students and staff continue to inspire us. At the high school, the inaugural InspireEDU program gave students valuable insight into careers in education through engaging conversations with our educators.

One of the most powerful moments came at Berner’s St. Baldrick’s event, where our community united to support childhood cancer research – many participants, including myself, proudly shaving their heads in solidarity.

 Spring recess is almost here, and I hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Easter and Passover filled with peace, joy and time with loved ones.

Massapequa Schools will reopen on Monday, April 13, and we’re looking forward to all that the final months of the school year will bring. I especially hope to see you on May 2 at Berner Middle School as we host the Special Olympics – an inspiring event that truly reflects the spirit of our community.
