As part of our community involvement, the Fort Neck Garden Club Scholarship will be offering to a MHS high school senior with plans to pursue a college degree in horticulture, floriculture, forestry, botany, environmental science, city planning or landscape architecture. Participation in ecology or science courses, or extracurricular opportunities such as “Go Green” or other related course of study with a focus on agriculture is a plus. In addition, students are asked to write an essay describing their career plans. We would also like to learn how they decided to take this career path. William J. Schwarz – TSI Physical Therapy and Sports Performance Scholarship
Scholarship Criteria: Student who overcame a major injury and returned to athletics; majoring in sports medicine, physical therapy and/or certified athletic training; A or better average; athlete on a minimum of 1 sport at MHS

Woman's Club of Massapequa Improvement Award
Scholarship Criteria: Student who has demonstrated improvement during their MHS career personally and/or academically - Participation in a minimum of one (1) MHS club and one (1) community service event not affiliated with the school district - ADDITIONAL REQUIRED ESSAY: Woman's Club of Massapequa Improvement Award - Describe your improvement be it academic, social, physical, etc.
