Programs are scheduled to start July 1 and end August 1 (closed for the July 4th holiday.)

If interested in applying for a Student Leader, Student Volunteer or College Assistant position, applications open on Monday, March 24, 2025 and close on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 4:00PM. All information is on the Summer Recreation Webpage.

Various sport camps will be held for various age groups. The schedule and cost of each camp is listed in the Summer Sports Camps Brochure. Please note, participants must be Massapequa School District 23 Residents.

Weekly Recreational Basketball for students entering Grades 4-7 (Monday - Thursday evenings, mid-June until the end of July, 45 minute time slots).  No experience needed.  Captains are responsible for forming a team and registering all players.  The Recreation Office will NOT place players on a team.
