Shared Decision Making Committee

The purpose of the site-based Shared Decision Making Committee is to assess existing programs and practices in terms of the extent to which they support the exit outcomes for students and to create improvements in the existing programs and practices that will better ensure the attainment of these outcomes.

Exit outcomes for students include:

  • lifelong learning

  • acquisition of knowledge skills

  • personal and communication skills

  • gaining a sense of responsibility

  • good citizenship skills

Implementation of the site-based team allows the stakeholders such as administrators, teachers, support staff, parents and students to collaborate in decision making and to share responsibility for improvement at the school level.
