District Safety & Preparedness
District-wide School Safety Plan
In an ongoing effort to continue to enhance the district's safety preparedness, throughout the year our school will conduct emergency management drills, including 8 evacuation drills and 4 lockout drills. We will be notifying parents or persons in parental relations within one week of all lockout and lockdown drills.
The District-wide Safety Plan was written to comply with the requirements of the New York State Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE) legislation. This Plan is a general, overarching document that can be shared with the public and posted on school district websites.
Emergency Remote Instructions
If the Massapequa School District notifies the school community of a remote instructional day, please follow these instructions.
